Industry data released in mid-November showed that in October, Chinese white corundum producers’ inventory destocking days totaled 21 days, up 23.53% from 17 days in the same period last year and down slightly by 4.55% month-on-month from 22 days in September.

Industry data released in mid-November showed that in October, Chinese white fused alumina producers had an inventory destocking period of 21 days, up 23.53% from 17 days in the same period last year and down slightly by 4.55% from 22 days in September. Regionally, Henan and Shandong provinces faced relatively greater pressure to destock inventories; in Henan, the inventory destocking period reached 24 days, representing a year-on-year increase of 33.33%. From January to October 2025, the average monthly inventory destocking period for white fused alumina producers was 25 days, up 34.59% from 18 days in the same period last year. Changes in inventory turnover efficiency have become an important indicator for monitoring supply-demand adjustments in the industry.
