White fused alumina fine powder 200-0/325
It exhibits excellent chemical stability and boasts outstanding insulating properties. It is particularly well-suited for grinding and polishing precision components, as well as for manufacturing high-grade refractory materials. Moreover, due to the unique characteristics of white fused alumina fine powder itself, it has increasingly become the preferred abrasive material in a growing number of high-end industries.
It has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent hydrophilicity, exceptional toughness, and high strength. Sintered abrasive tools made from this material exhibit a deep blue color after firing, show no network cracks, and remain free of rust stains. As a result, these tools offer enhanced precision and superior grinding performance, making them particularly well-suited for the production of high-grade bonded abrasive tools.

Product Details
White corundum is produced by melting industrial alumina powder at temperatures exceeding 2,000°C in an electric arc furnace, followed by rapid cooling. It is then crushed and shaped, subjected to magnetic separation to remove iron impurities, and screened into various particle sizes. This material features a dense structure and high hardness, with sharp-edged particles. It is suitable for manufacturing ceramic tools, resin-bonded abrasives, as well as for grinding, polishing, sandblasting, and precision casting (corundum specifically designed for precision casting). It can also be used to produce high-grade refractory materials. Its international standard designation “WA” is consistent with both international and national standards. The majority of this product is exported, while a certain quantity is also supplied to domestic users.
Scope of Application: White corundum abrasive is suitable for surface finishing of various high-end products, including precision engineering components and hardware items. After sandblasting, the surface becomes brilliantly white and free of any impurities, eliminating the need for tedious cleaning. It can also be used as an additive in a wide range of products. This abrasive is ideal for manufacturing both bonded and coated abrasives, as well as for wet or dry blasting applications. It is particularly well-suited for ultra-precision grinding and polishing in the crystal and electronics industries, and for producing high-grade refractory materials. It is especially effective when processing hard materials with high hardness and tensile strength, such as quenched steel, alloy steel, high-speed steel, and high-carbon steel. Additionally, it can serve as a conductive medium, an insulating material, and a casting sand for precision molding. For ferrous workpieces, it removes rust, dirt, and oxide scale, enhancing the adhesion of plating and coating layers. For aluminum workpieces, it effectively removes oxide scales, strengthens the surface, and provides a polished finish. For copper workpieces, it achieves a matte finish by removing oxide scales. It is also used for frosted finishes on glass and crystal products, creating etched patterns on plastic products for a matte effect, and for special fabric treatments such as plush finishing on denim and other textiles, as well as for creating patterned effects.
